This year we were lucky enough to be invited as VIP’s to Devon’s Crealy for their fireworks spectacular. For anyone that doesn’t know Crealy is an award-winning family amusement park with lots of rides and indoor soft play places.
I personally have never been to Crealy before so I was keen to see what was there. On first impressions, I was very impressed with the place. It immediately reminded me of Disneyland in Florida as it was so clean and fresh looking.
As we were VIP’s we had our own area on the balcony outside the cafe. It really was the perfect spot for watching the fireworks. We also got complimentary jacket potatoes and drinks which the kiddies were very happy about! There was a little bit of confusion around where we got the food from which after a long day I could’ve done without but it all worked out fine in the end.
The firework display was one of the best we have seen in a long time! Unfortunately the images I captured on my phone really don’t do it justice but you get the idea.
Here’s a short video of the fireworks…
The place was absolutely packed full of people which made me very glad that we were sat where we were.
Ideally, we would have loved to of spent the whole day at the park, going on all of the rides but we already had commitments that day so we could only make the evening show. In all, it was a lovely evening out and we would definitely go back another year.
Wow!!! Crealy VIP so jealous right now. We went to a muddy field in Widecombe (loved it though) x
It was a fun night! I love Widecombe we often have lunch in the Old Inn although it’s been a bit hit and miss of late. Still a lovely cozy pub though 🙂
