That day when we declare our love for each other by buying lots of red things is fast approaching. This year I wanted to give my other half something with a bit more meaning and what could have more meaning than a personalised gift?
Personalised Gifts For Valentine’s Day
Snapfish
The company I used is called Snapfish, they are an online photo sharing and photo printing service. You may remember that I used them before to create some lovely little stocking stuffers for friends and family. This time I was looking to create a gift for the other half for Valentine’s Day; something unique that took a bit of effort to create.
Snapfish have a variety of different gifts that you can personalise including photo books, cushions, phone covers and teddy bears. This time I opted for a photo book My other half is a keen sailor and over the years we have taken hundreds of photos while we’ve been out and about on the boat.
The problem is that they just stay on my camera, never to be seen again. I wanted to pick some of our best photos and present them to him in a collection, something that he can look back on in the dead of Winter when the boat is out of the water and we spend most of our time dodging the harsh South West weather.
Here is what I created…
The site is really easy to use. You simply upload the images that you want and then it’s a case of drag and drop them into the correct place. You can change the layout on each page and you can also add in captions.
You have the ability to choose the size and finish of your book. I opted for the 11×8 Custom Cover which costs £24.99. They have larger and smaller options available. There is a selection of different themes available. I personally choose the Aqua Blue theme to fit in with our boat images.
