If I Could Have Just One Room…

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my terms & conditions for more info.

I have been tagged by the lovely Jocelyn at The Reading Residence in her ‘If I Could Have One Room‘ meme.

If you could have just one room, all to yourself, what would be in it? What colours would you choose? What would it smell like?

If you follow me on Pinterest then you will know that I have a real passion for interior design and architecture and I found it really hard to just chose one style. So I cheated (sorry Jocelyn) and created a few…

My Recycled Room

So which room would you chose? I could go on and on but I don’t want to bore you so I shall stop and now to tag some other lovely bloggers…

Tracy @greenmumsdevon Green Mums Blog

Georgie @GeorgieStClair Visual Toast Blog

Jade @JadePirard Late For Reality

Now it’s your turn, I can’t wait to see what you come up with and don’t forget to go back to The Reading Residence and link up your post 🙂

    1. Yes sorry about the cheating, I just couldn’t decide. I change my mind from one week to the next on how my ideal house would look. Ideally I would have a house where every room was different so I could move from room to room depending on my mood lol

  1. i would go for the recycled room, love the pics in that one! although i like the boho too, and that is more “you” i reckon! cor, i would have anything in my room, and NO kids lol!!! i will blog asap about it!

Absolutely love all of these – am going to whizz straight over to Pinterest and follow you and have pinned on my Dream Home board – Alice @ Mums Make Lists

  3. I’m a bloke of very simple needs. If I could have any room I’d like the one I had in my late teens before I left my parent’s home and got my own place, or my first bedsit. Neither of them were particularly well-decorated, but both provided privacy and ‘me’ space and I had all the time in the world to enjoy it. I was either in my room listening to music and/or cuddling up (hem hem) with my girlfriend(s) or out on the tiles living it up. Work, of course, got in the way for forty hours or so a week, but apart from that the world was my oyster.

I’d probably plump for a cross between the Boho room and the Recycled room, because the others look too tidy and organised. 🙂 [#PoCoLo]

    1. I’ve found that blokes views on how homes should be decorated generally tend to differ somewhat to how us ladies would like it. My other half would just have a room with a sofa, a remote and a TV in it if he had his way, without all that ‘clutter crap’ as he puts it. 🙂

    1. Thanks, I have always wanted a loft appartement, not sure how practical it would be with kiddies though :-/ Thanks for hosting #PoCoLo

I love both the block colour room and the loft room. Like the way you approached this with different room themes!

I'd love to know what you think...
