Thrifty Thursday – Better Late Than Never!

I have been really slack with Thrifty Thursday as of late and I’m sorry for that. Life seems to be flying by at a rate of knots at the moment and if I’m honest I’m struggling to keep up. I’m still desperately trying to organise our house.

Simplifying Our Life

Stuff stresses me out! It has taken me a while to get to that conclusion but I’ve got there. Over the last month I have been getting rid of our stuff, anything that we no longer use, is broken awaiting fixing or has no purpose has gone. It’s been a slow process as I’ve been selling the items rather than just getting rid of them. So far I’ve made this much…

Car Boot Sale = £75

Bedroom Drawers = £45

Artificial Christmas Tree = £15

Bags of Clothes to Cash For Cutter = £8

Total = £ 143

It’s a process that takes time and I find it frustrating as I’m more of a want it all done now type of person! I’ve still got enough bits left over to do another car boot sale which I’m hoping to do next Sunday (weather permitting). I’ve also got quite a few bits on Gumtree so hoping they will also go soon.

With every item I get rid of I feel lighter, more organised and a little bit less stressed.

Thrifty Thursday

Thrifty ThursdayThrifty Thursday is a weekly linky and a place to share your thrifty posts. It doesn’t matter if they are old or new and can be about anything to do with saving money and being thrifty. Whether it be a post on cutting back on your food shop or your latest thrifty find link it up, I’d love to see it.
