This Christmas I didn’t want to do my usual last-minute panic bulk buying present shopping. I wanted to find gifts that I thought our friends and family would really appreciate and had a more personal touch.
This is where Snapfish comes in. They have a great website where you can create personalised stocking stuffers which are perfect for a unique yet personal Christmas gift.
‘Snapfish provides online digital photo printing services where you can order photo prints and photo gifts. Print pictures create photo cards, photo books and more’.
Personalised Stocking Stuffers
There is a whole host of products to choose from on the Snapfish website, everything from personalised jigsaws to phone cases.
I chose to create the following products…
Personalised Photo Coaster Set
This year for my Father’s Christmas present I have put together one of my homemade food hampers. To go into it I thought it would be nice to create some personalised coasters as we live nearly 300 miles away from him so we don’t get to see him as often as we would like. I included pictures of him, my sister and I and also some shots of his Grandchildren.
The coasters were super easy to design. You simply upload the images that you want to use and add them to the coasters.
- heat resistant with non-slip backing
- each coaster measures 4″x4
- cost £9.99 per set
I was really happy with the finished product as they were printed to a really high quality, unfortunately, my photos don’t do it justice! I think my Father will be really happy with them and hopefully, they will bring a smile to his face whenever he uses them.
Personalised Collage Mug
The next item that I chose to make was a personalised collage mug for my Mother. She also lives a long way away from us so I thought a mug with her Grandchildren on would be a nice gift.
The mug was also very easy to make. You simply just upload the images that you wish to use and Snapfish automatically create a collage for you. If your not happy with the one that is created you simply click a button and it rearranges the images for you. You also have the ability to choose a background colour and put text on the mug.
- 11oz ceramic mug
- select up to 15 photos
- choose a background and inside colour
- add a caption or a personalised message
- suitable for microwave and dishwasher use
- prices start from £7.99
Again the print quality was fantastic although I do wish I had changed the text colour to white to make it stand out a little bit more but that is just me being fussy.
Personalised Wall Calendar
For my Mother in Law, I decided to create a personalised wall calendar. This product has, by far, the most involved design process and I would suggest putting aside a couple of hours to really get it how you want it.
There are lots of different background designs to choose from. I personally chose to use the Chalkboard Art background. You can upload your images and then place them where you want them. Some pages contain only one photo whilst others have a selection of photos.
One thing with the calendars that really gives them that extra personal touch is that you can put in specific dates like anniversaries or birthdays. I chose to input all of the family members birthdays. You can also add a personal image to the event.
This particular size of calendar costs £14.99. The quality is fantastic and I’m really happy with the finished product. I just hope my Mother in Law likes it as much as I do.
As a small extra gift, I also made some personalised keyrings with a picture of the kiddies and the puppy on.
To make these you simply upload the images you want to use and that’s it. Your photo is featured on both sides. They cost £2.99 each.
